MEMORIAL DAY - GARBAGE, RECYCLING AND YARD WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR MAY 28TH THROUGH JUNE 2ND
 
FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 24, 2007) – Please be advised that all unincorporated areas of Lee County as well as the City of Bonita Springs, and the Town of Fort Myers Beach have garbage, recycling, and yard waste collections delayed for one day the entire week starting Monday, May 28th  in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

If the regularly scheduled garbage pick up day is Monday, then it will be Tuesday; if it is normally on Tuesday, then it will be Wednesday, Wednesday's pick up will be on Thursday, Thursday's on Friday, and Friday's on Saturday.   

This schedule is only in effect from May 28th   to June 2nd , 2007.  Regular scheduled collections will resume on June 4th, 2007.
