San Carlos Park Girl to Visit Emergency Dispatch Center
May 23, 2007 A nine-year old San Carlos Park girl will visit the Lee County Emergency Dispatch Center today at 7 p.m. to meet the 911 calltaker she spoke with and dispatchers that sent emergency responders to her mother's aid. On May 18, calltaker Amy Cohan received an emergency call from the nine-year old San whose mother needed emergency medical attention. Cohan guided the young girl through the emergency protocols until first responders arrived. The Emergency Dispatch Center will also make available the 911 call with the nine-year old.
