TWO LEE COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES EMPLOYEES ATTAIN CREDENTIALS

Lee County Emergency Medical Services announced today that it added two credentialled field providers to its division through their successful completion of the agency's field training program.

Recently credentialled employees are:

David Gobey, Paramedic, promotion, of Cape Coral, Fla.
Lisa Eddy, EMT, new hire, of Lehigh Acres, Fla.

Each paramedic and emergency medical technician that Lee County hires or promotes is required to participate in a three week orientation program and complete a field training program which prepares them with local protocols and policies. Upon completion of the field training program, candidates are required to sit before an internal credentialling board which includes the EMS medical director.

Lee County EMS currently employs 248 credentialled paramedics and EMTs.
