Intermittent Lane Closures On Sanibel Causeway for Paving

Intermittent Lane Closures on Sanibel Causeway Islands for Paving Beginning 7 a.m. Tuesday May 22, 2007 Fort Myers, FL, May 21, 2007 – Beginning Tuesday, May 22nd through Friday May 25th, intermittent lane closures will occur on Islands A and B for paving operations. These lane closures will occur throughout the day between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. and will be of short durations. There may be short delays on the Sanibel Causeway on these dates. Flagmen and signage will be in place to control the traffic flow however, motorists heading to or from Sanibel and should plan extra time for their journey. Drivers are asked to use caution and obey all signs during this brief inconvenience.
