Traffic Shift Scheduled to Switch Traffic to New Bridge B on April 11
Apr 6, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Traffic Shift Scheduled to Switch Traffic to New Bridge B Fort Myers, FL, April 6, 2006 – On Wednesday night, April 11, 2007 from 6 p.m., until Thursday morning, April 12 at 6 a.m., work will be performed to switch traffic from the old Bridge B to the new Bridge B (the middle bridge on the Sanibel Causeway). Traffic will be routed onto the new bridge during this change to allow for demolition of the existing Bridge "B", completion of adjacent seawalls and other remaining work. Flagmen and signage will be in place to control the traffic flow however, motorists heading to or from Sanibel and should plan extra time for their journey. Drivers are asked to use caution and obey all signs during this brief inconvenience.
