Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection Closing Nights April 11-12
Apr 8, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Amy Davies, Lee County DOT, 479-8589 SUMMERLIN/GLADIOLUS INTERSECTION TO CLOSE NIGHTS FROM APRIL 11 THROUGH APRIL 12 FORT MYERS, FL (April 8, 2007) - Through traffic in ALL directions at the intersection of Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive will be closed each night from Wednesday April 11, 2007 to Thursday April 12, 2007, for the placement of the concrete bridge deck on Flyover A. Right turns only will be available on each leg of the intersection as well as the use of Flyover B (west to south movement from Gladiolus to Summerlin). The intersection will be closed each night beginning Wednesday, April 11 until Thursday, April 12 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES; U.S. 41, CYPRESS LAKE DRIVE AND WINKLER ROAD. Access to business at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available to assist with maintenance of traffic. |
