Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection to Close Nights March 11-12
Mar 7, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Amy Davies, Lee County DOT, 479-8589 SUMMERLIN/GLADIOLUS INTERSECTION TO CLOSE NIGHTS FROM MARCH 11 THROUGH MARCH 12 FORT MYERS, FL (March 7, 2007) – Through traffic (right turns only) in ALL directions at the intersection of Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive will be closed each night from Sunday March 11, 2007, to Monday March 12, 2007, to remove the jacks and bracing in order to open Flyover B to traffic sometime during the day on Thursday March 15, 2007. The intersection will be closed each night beginning Sunday, March 11 until Monday, March 12 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES; U.S. 41, CYPRESS LAKE DRIVE AND WINKLER ROAD. Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available to assist with maintenance of traffic. |
