Feb 26, 2007 For Immediate Release: 5th Annual Birdfest Sponsored by Lee County Bird Patrol and Lee County Parks and Recreation Birdfest is a great opportunity to see a wide variety of Florida native birds as they begin their nesting season. Event highlights include canoe tours of the rookery, guided walking tours, and guest speakers discussing topics ranging from bird photography tips to backyard habitats.
