Feb 21, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MEDIA CONTACTS: Karen Sloan, Library Development Specialist Lee County PugFest III: Pug Idle Fort Myers, Florida, February 13, 2007 Lee County PugFest III: Pug Idle will be held Sunday, March 11, 2007 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers. The PugFest, now in its third year, is a pet-friendly joint fundraiser for Lee County's Library System and Animal Services to benefit the Lee County Animal Care Trust Fund and the Southwest Florida Reading Festival. The Southwest Florida Reading Festival is an annual event to encourage reading and use of the library's resources. The Animal Care Trust Fund provides money for a variety of needs including affordable spay/neuter surgery for disadvantaged pet owners and care of neglected or abused animals.
