Summerlin/San Carlos Blvd Intersection to Close Nights Feb 19-20
Feb 14, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Amy Davies, Lee County DOT, 479-8589 SUMMERLIN/SAN CARLOS BLVD INTERSECTION TO CLOSE NIGHTS FROM FEBRUARY 19 – 20 FORT MYERS, FL (February 14, 2007) - Thru traffic in ALL directions at the intersection of Summerlin Road and San Carlos Blvd. will be closed each night from Monday February 19, through Tuesday February 20, 2007, to place concrete on the flyover B bridge deck. The intersection will be closed each night beginning Monday, February 19 until Tuesday, February 20, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES: Pine Ridge Rd., McGregor Blvd and John Morris Road. Right turns only will be permitted at the intersection during these times. This closure will be the first of many similar closures to construct the San Carlos overpass. Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available with maintenance of traffic. |
