Sanibel Causeway Improvements Project Lane Closure May 11 - 12

Sanibel Causeway Improvements Project Lane Closure May 11 and 12 Fort Myers, FL, May 4, 2005 - From 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 12, one lane of traffic will be closed on island "B" of the Sanibel Causeway. The contractor will be installing a temporary drainage outfall on the east side of Island "B", adjacent to Bridge C. Flagmen will be directing traffic during the lane closure. The lane closure will affect traffic flow, therefore travelers should allow extra time in planning their trip across the Causeway. Two lanes of traffic will be open at 2:30 p.m. to facilitate the "rush hour" traffic. |
