Lee TV to Broadcast Video on the Caloosahatchee River

(January 5, 2007) - The third episode of the series produced by WGCU Public Television on local water issues will begin broadcasting on Lee TV this Friday at 8:30pm. Entitled, "Estuary Crisis: A Question of Balance", the video takes a look at the numerous threats facing our local estuaries. Commissioners Tammy Hall and Ray Judah are interviewed along with state and federal water officials, and concerned citizens. The video is part of a 3-part series entitled "Water Woes" which examines local water issues affecting residents and local governments in Southwest Florida. The program will be broadcast at 8:30 pm on Fridays and on Sundays at 1:30 pm. The series was made possible by a number of local governments, agencies, and organizations including Lee County. This video, plus other county information can be seen daily on Lee TV, channel 11 on the ComCast cable system, and channel 16 in Cape Coral.
