FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Amy Davies, Lee County DOT, 479-8589 SUMMERLIN/SAN CARLOS BLVD INTERSECTION TO CLOSE NIGHTS FROM FEBRUARY 5 - 6 FORT MYERS, FL (February 1, 2007) – Thru traffic in ALL directions at the intersection of Summerlin Road and San Carlos Blvd. will be closed each night from Monday February 5, through Tuesday February 6, 2007 for utility installation. The intersection will be closed each night beginning Monday, February 5 until Tuesday February 6, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES: Pine Ridge Rd., McGregor Blvd. and John Morris Rd. Right turns only will be permitted at the intersection during these times. This closure will be the first of many similar closures to construct the San Carlos overpass. Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available with maintenance of traffic. |
