PUBLIC NOTICE

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications from citizens who are interested in serving on the Lee County Human Services' Partnering for Results Proposal Review Panel.  The panel reviews and evaluates proposals from human service agencies and makes funding recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners.

Meetings will be held one day a week during April and May and are usually scheduled for two hours.  In addition to attendance at the meetings, time will be needed to review and score the proposals prior to the meetings.    Applications for Review Panel members are available from Lee County Department of Human Services located at 2440 Thompson Street, Fort Myers, FL or on-line at http://dhs.lee-county.com under Contracts and then Volunteer Opportunities.   Applications  should be returned to the Department of Human Services no later than February 16, 2007.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT PERSONS  SERVING ON THIS REVIEW PANEL COMMIT TO ATTEND ALL MEETINGS DURING THE DESIGNATED TIMES.
