Powell Road at Business 41 (N. Tamiami Trail) Will be Closed to Traffic Sunday NIGHT, January 14th and Monday NIGHT, January 15th from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Fort Myers, FL, Jan. 12, 2007 – Powell Road at Business 41 (N. Tamiami Trail) will be closed to traffic Sunday NIGHT, January 14th and Monday NIGHT, January 15th while contractors for the Lee County Department of Transportation reconstruct the roadway.  Work will begin at 9:00 p.m. and the road will reopen at 6:00 a.m. Monday and Tuesday morning, respectively.  Motorists are asked to use an alternate route during the Powell Road closure.
