Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection to Close Nights Jan 7-8
Jan 4, 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Randy Cerchie, Lee County DOT, 479-8573 SUMMERLIN/GLADIOLUS INTERSECTION TO CLOSE NIGHTS FROM JANUARY 7 THROUGH JANUARY 8 FORT MYERS, FL (January 4, 2007) – Thru traffic in ALL directions at the intersection of Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive will be closed each night from Sunday January 7, through Monday January 8, 2007 to install the bridge deck overhang jacks. Right turn only lanes will be available on all approaches. The intersection will be closed each night beginning Sunday, January 7 until Monday January 8, 2007 from 7p.m. to 6a.m. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID THIS INTERSECTION AND USE ALTERNATE ROUTES: U.S. 41, Cypress Lake Drive and Winkler Road. Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available to assist with maintenance of traffic. |
