High Hoops Tourney Gears Up for 10th Annual Event
 
This weekend, Lee County will be the site of one of Florida's largest youth basketball tournaments. The event will draw 122 teams, making it the largest tournament ever hosted by local event host, High Hoops Inc.
 
"We are excited that the teams have faith in our local organizing committee and are joining us for our event. It kind of makes you feel good that all your hard work has made a difference in a young man's life" said High Hoops president Bruce Russell.
 
Russell, along with his 90 volunteers, has worked  for almost a year planning the event.
 
Registration will be held today at the Quality Inn (2431 Cleveland Avenue, Fort Myers) beginning at 5:00 PM.  Games will also begin tonight starting at 5:30 PM.  Games will begin at 8:30 AM both Saturday (4/30) and Sunday (4/31).
 
A total of fifteen gymnasiums will be used for the event.  Admission will be $6 per day, or $10 for an all-tournament pass.  A complete schedule and game locations can be viewed at www.highhoops.org.
