E Terry Street Closure - December 16-31, 2006
Dec 13, 2006 For Immediate Release Contact: Nicole Maxey – 479-8565 EAST TERRY STREET ROAD CLOSURE - DECEMBER 16TH to DECEMBER 31ST (December 13, 2006, Fort Myers, Florida) - East Terry Street will be closed to through traffic from Pinetrail Court to Croise Drive starting on Saturday, December 16th at 7:00 a.m. until Sunday, December 31st at 5:00 p.m. This closure is necessitated in order to install 19 utility and drainage lines across existing East Terry Street. Fire, EMS, Sheriff, Post Office and garbage service access will not be affected. Residents in the affected area will be allowed access to their homes although the route may be altered depending on the location of the work efforts taking place on any given day. Residents east of Pinetrail Court are asked to use East Terry Street to Bonita Grande Drive to Bonita Beach Road. Residents west of Croise Drive are asked to use Matheson Street to Dean Street to Imperial Parkway to Bonita Beach Road. Eastbound traffic on West Terry Street and southbound traffic on Old US 41 are asked to use Old US 41 south to Bonita Beach Road. Motorists should avoid using East Terry Street and use alternate routes. Detour signs and variable message boards will direct traffic to alternate routes.
