Cape Coral councilman, industry veteran become latest
Lee County Tourist Development Council members

 LEE COUNTY, FL  The Lee County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has named the latest members to the Lee County Tourist Development Council (TDC). Cape Coral City Council member Mickey Rosado and Fort Myers hotelier Colleen DePasquale will be seated at the council's May 13 meeting.

Cape Coral City Council members picked Rosado to serve on the TDC. He has been on city council since April 2003 and a resident since 1997.
Rosado is CEO/President of Authentic Latin Cuisine, Make a Wish Cakes and Mickey Rosado Management.  His professional development includes community partnership specialist from the Census Bureau, local government leadership program from the Florida Institute and basic and advance training certification from the Florida Institute of Government. He has attended Sacramento City College, Sacramento State University and is continuing his education at Southwest College.  He will replace Gloria Tate.

DePasquale is the general manager at the Fort Myers Residence Inn by Marriott. She has worked in the hotel industry since 1986 and has received numerous professional and community awards. Her Marriott experience has even taken her to Russia, where she served as rooms director at the Moscow Marriott Grand Hotel for two years.  She earned her bachelor's degree in Hotel/Resort Management from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. Her family resides on Sanibel Island.  DePasquale will replace Jack Copeland on the TDC. 
 
The nine-member TDC was established by the BOCC in 1983 to increase tourism to Lee County.
