Lee TV to Air "The Caloosahatchee: River at the Crossroads"
Dec 1, 2006 Lee TV to Air "The Caloosahatchee: River at the Crossroads" Entitled, "The Caloosahatchee: River At The Crossroads", the video takes a look at the history of the river and the dangers that threaten its long-term health and viability. Commissioners Tammy Hall and Ray Judah are interviewed along with state and federal water officials, and concerned citizens. The video is part of a 3-part series entitled "Water Woes" which examines local water issues affecting residents and local governments in Southwest Florida. The program will be broadcast at 8:30 pm on Fridays and on Sundays at 1:30 pm until the next segment is available. The series was made possible by a number of local governments, agencies, and organizations including Lee County. This video, plus other county information can be seen daily on Lee TV, channel 11 on the ComCast cable system, and channel 16 on the Time Warner system.
