Notice of Public Meeting Galt Preserve 11-30-06
Nov 16, 2006 For Immediate Release: Notice of Public Meeting Galt Preserve, a Conservation 20/20 acquisition, is a 160 acre preserve in west Lee County, located in St. James City, on Pine Island, and west of Stringfellow and York Roads. Lee County Parks and Recreation Staff invites the public to review the Land Stewardship Plan for the Preserve and attend this public meeting. The public meeting will be held Thursday, November 30, 2006, 6:30 pm at the Lee County Parks and Recreation Matlacha Community Center, 4577 Pine Island Road NW, Matlacha. Come let us know what you think! The Stewardship Plan is available for review from November 9 – November 30, 2006, at the Pine Island Public Library – 10700 Russell Road, Bokeelia, FL - and at website, http://www.leeparks.org/2020/preserves.html under Galt Preserve.
