On 11-14-06 Traffic on Gunnery from Lee Blvd. to 82 to be Switched
Nov 13, 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Randy Cerchie, Lee County DOT, 479-8573 Beginning Tuesday, November 14, 9 a.m., traffic on Gunnery Road – from Lee Blvd. to SR 82 – will be switched to the newly constructed lanes, which are east of the existing two lanes. Please drive carefully and defensively on this new traffic pattern. Gunnery Road is being widened from two lanes to four lanes. After the switch, the existing two lanes will be rebuilt. The $10.2 million widening project is expected to be completed May 2007.
