Public Information Meeting Scheduled for Three Oaks Pkwy Widening

The public is invited to attend anytime between the hours of 5 - 7 p.m. Informational displays about the study will be available for review and representatives from LC DOT will be available to answer questions. Final comment for the project will be taken and included in the project record. The purpose of this project is to provide an alternate north/south transportation corridor between U.S. 41 and Interstate 75 (I-75). The project consists of widening the existing two-lane roadway to four lanes and eventually to six lanes from Corkscrew Road to Alico Road. A portion of the roadway will also be realigned along I-75 around the eastern boundary of the Cypress Chase neighborhood. The existing roadway west of Cypress Chase will remain a local road. The public is encouraged to attend this workshop and view the final design plans.
