Summerlin/Gladiolus Intersection Closed Sunday Night 10-22-06
Oct 20, 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SUMMERLIN/GLADIOLUS INTERSECTION CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC SUNDAY NIGHT 10-22 Fort Myers, FL October 20, 2006 - Phoenix Construction will be relocating the temporary bridge supports to begin construction on Span A of the overpass. The intersection will be closed Sunday night October 22nd from 7:00pm to 6:00 am. Motorist should avoid this intersection and use alternate routes; US41, Cypress Lake Drive and Winkler Road. Access to businesses at the intersection will be provided. Law enforcement will be available to assist with maintenance of traffic. Similar future closures of this intersection will be required when the beams are placed on the other bridge, when the concrete decks are poured, painting the bridges and paving the intersection. |
