Volunteer Group, Friends of Wa-Ke Hatchee, Having Its 1st Meeting
Sep 20, 2006 For Immediate Release: The Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center located at 16760 Bass Road, Ft. Myers, FL 33908 is forming a volunteer group called Friends of Wa-Ke Hatchee to help support ongoing community awareness and recreation opportunities that add quality of life for the citizens of Lee County and its visitors. The Friends of Wa-Ke Hatchee is having its first meeting on Thursday, September 28 at 6:30pm. The Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center and Park is one of Lee County Parks and Recreation's newest facilities located off Summerlin Road, just west of Bass Road, adjacent to the Lexington Middle School.
