LEE COUNTY UTILITIES OFFERS ONLINE PAYMENTS

FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 8, 2006) - Lee County Utilities announces the ability to pay utility bills online at www.lcupayments.com

The free, online payment option allows Lee County Utilities' customers to view their account balance and pay their bill 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using either credit cards, debit cards, or by check.  The new online system is a secure way to pay with a confirmation of payment immediately.

Not only does this ease the way of making a payment for local customers, but Lee County Utilities has many customers that are seasonal residents that live out of state and out of the country.  The online payment system allows them to make instant payments, alleviating the worry of lost or misdirected payments resulting in late fees.

All that is needed to pay online is the account number and the billing address zip code.  Payments can easily be made using a savings account, checking account, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express.

Lee County Utilities will still offer the traditional ways of making payments through mailing the payment, stopping into our Customer Service located at 7391 College Parkway, using automatic withdrawal from a checking or savings account, or dropping off a payment in one of our drop boxes located throughout the county.

For more information or help getting started with the online payment system, please call 239-936-0247.
