IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SEPTEMBER 5TH PRIMARY ELECTION

Lee County, FL:  (July 24, 2006) The books close for the September 5th PRIMARY on Monday August 7th   at 5:00pm which is the last day for new voter registrations and party changes.  All applications have to be received in the Lee County Elections office on August 7, 2006 or postmarked on or before August 7, 2006 to be eligible to vote in the September 5th PRIMARY election.

Early voting for the PRIMARY will begin on Monday August 21, 2006 and will continue through Saturday September 2, 2006.  Voting hours are Monday through Friday 10:00am – 6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am – 5:00pm.  Early voting will be offered at the following Lee County Elections Offices:

Absentee ballot requests for the PRIMARY will be accepted through Thursday August 30th .
