Hamilton Elected to Society of American Travel Writers Board of Directors

 LEE COUNTY, FL – Nancy Hamilton, APR, communications director for the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau (VCB), has been elected to a two-year term on the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) North American board of directors.
 She will serve as associate-at-large of SATW. Now in its 50th year SATW is a not-for-profit professional association of more than 1,200 travel writers, editors, photographers, electronic media and journalists, film lecturers, broadcast/video/film producers and public relations representatives.
 Hamilton has been with the VCB since 1990. The communications staff promotes the Lee County tourism destination to hundreds of travel journalists each year, many of them SATW members, in order to secure editorial coverage in media worldwide.
