The SWFL Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has invited the Latin America VIP Delegation to Lee County for a several day visit.  The purpose is to encourage both communities ( Lee County and several Latin American business communities )  to increase trade & business with each other.  While the VIP Delegation is in Lee County, the Chamber wants their visitors to meet several groups of influential individuals.  This County Commissioners reception is an attempt to get a lot of local government elected officials to meet the Hispanic Delegation. 

The overall theme is economic development for both Lee County and our Latin America neighbors. 

The main activity during the delegation's 3 day visit is the annual international Hispanic gala on Saturday June 3, 2006.   

We are still working on an agenda for the BCC reception on June 2.  I'll get that agenda as soon as we have finalized it.  But generally, it will look something like this ………….  

6 to 6:30  PM-meet & greet 

6:30 – 7:00  PM- speeches

7 – 8  PM---meet & greet
