MEMORIAL DAY -  GARBAGE COLLECTION SCHEDULE CHANGE
 
FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 25, 2006) – Please be advised that all unincorporated areas of Lee County as well as Bonita Springs, and the Town of Fort Myers Beach have garbage, recycling, and yard waste collections delayed for one day the entire week starting Monday, May 29th  in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

If the regular scheduled garbage pick up day is Monday, then it will be Tuesday; if it is normally on Tuesday, then it will be Wednesday, Wednesday's pick up will be on Thursday, Thursday's on Friday, and Friday's on Saturday.   

This schedule is only in effect from May 29th   to June 3rd, 2006.  Regular scheduled collections will resume on June 5th. 2006
