On-line Hurricane Preparation at Your Library

FORT MYERS, Fla., May 23, 2006- As part of Hurricane Preparation Week, the Lee County Library System is featuring a new section on its website www.lee-county.com/library.

"Lee County residents recognize the Library System as a resource for finding accurate and current information. Staff identified some of the resources and links that we recommend to our patrons each Hurricane Season. We compiled them to create a single source for getting started with preparations and planning, and to familiarize residents with several agencies," said Heather O'Connell, Lee County Library System Community Relations Coordinator.
