Outreach is Taken to the Next Level in the Suncoast Neighborhood

Please join Commissioner Tammy Hall and the Suncoast Estates Neighborhood District Committee as they celebrate the groundbreaking of their future Community Center this Friday, May 26th at 1:30 p.m. at 8125 Hart Dr. (the corner of Hart Dr. and Case Dr.)

Suncoast residents will benefit by the ability to keep neighborhood meetings centralized and accessible, attract service & educational programs into the community, and provide a place for organized recreational fun. Suncoast, located in the 33917 zip code, is one of six financially distressed neighborhoods in Lee County that are reorganizing with the help of The Department of Human Services utilizing Community Development Block Grant funds allocated by the HUD.

Several community agencies and providers including the North Fort Myers Fire Department and the Lee County Sheriff's Office will be in attendance as they join residents in celebrating a benchmark that has been a long time coming for this community and the Neighborhood District Committee Board members that have worked so hard to make positive change in the neighborhood.
