Public Meeting on the Pine Island Flatwoods Preserve Land Stewardship
May 1, 2006 For Immediate Release: NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING ON THE PINE ISLAND FLATWOODS PRESERVE LAND STEWARDSHIP PLAN A Public Meeting on the Pine Island Flatwoods Preserve Land Stewardship Plan will be held on Monday, May 15th, 2006, at 6:30 P.M. at the Matlacha Community Center, 4577 Pine Island Rd. NW, Matlacha, FL 33993. The Stewardship Plan is available for review from April 27th through May 15th, 2006, at the Pine Island Public Library, 10700 Russell Road NW, Bokeelia, and at www.leeparks.org under the Natural Resources tab. Written comments will be accepted prior to the commencement of, or during the course of the scheduled meeting.
