Animal Services Offers Special Adoption Days for Moms

Lee County Animal Services Offers Special Adoption Days for Moms Fort Myers, Florida, 4/28/2006– Some moms long to fill the ´empty nest' when their last child leaves home, while others just think about adding to their families. For all mothers who long to hear the pitter patter of little feet and feel the joy of having a sweet smiling face with big eyes melt their heart, Lee County Animal Services has just the solution. The shelter is celebrating Mother's Day by offering all moms a discount on pet adoptions. From May 6th through May 13th dogs may be adopted for only $40 and cats for $25 (regularly $65 and $50). All adoptions include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations appropriate for the pets age, heartworm test for dogs 6 months and older, feline aids and leukemia test for cats, flea treatment, worming, county license for pets three months and over, nationally registered Microchip Pet ID, and a training DVD for dogs. The total package of services is valued at more that $400!
