See the hottest authors before they appear at the Reading Festival! More than 20 best-selling authors are speaking before thousands of fans at this year's Lee County-Southwest Florida Reading Festival, but you can meet them earlier in an intimate event at Fort Myers' Royal Palm Yacht Club. Connie May Fowler ("Before Women had Wings"), George Pelecanos ("Hell to Pay"), Meg Cabot ("The Princess Diaries"), Steve Berry ("The Amber Room") and many others are expected to attend.
And in celebration of Lee County's One Book, One Community selection: "To Kill a Mockingbird", meet Mary Badham, the actress who portrayed Scout in the award-winning film. The Evening with the Authors will be held Friday, March 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Royal Palm Yacht Club, 2360 West First Street, Fort Myers. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis at a cost of $35 per person. The menu features Hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.
