Animal Care Trust Fund to Benefit from Broadway Palm's "Cats"
Jan 18, 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ria Brown, Lee County Animal Services Animal Care Trust Fund to Benefit from Broadway Palm's "Cats" Fort Myers, Florida, 1/18/06-Both cats and dogs will reap the benefits of the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre's production of "Cats." On February 7, 2006 Broadway Palm is hosting a fundraiser for the Lee County Animal Care Trust Fund with a portion of the proceeds from the evening's ticket sales going directly to the Lee County Animal Care Trust Fund. The Animal Care Trust Fund was established to assist homeless, abused and neglected animals in the care of Animal Services. The Trust provides funds for direct assistance and programs to improve animal care and welfare. Lee County Animal Services provides animal control services throughout Lee County and operates an animal shelter to house stray and abandoned domestic animals. It also administers low-cost spay and neuter programs and educational initiatives.
