Horizon Council to present 2005 Economic Results/Preview 2006 Annual Meeting to be held Friday, January 20, 2006

FORT MYERS, Fla. (January 13, 2006)--- The Horizon Council of Lee County, a 62-member public-private organization that advises the Lee County Board of Commissioners on economic development issues, will hold its annual meeting on Friday, January 20 at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, 1380 Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.  Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. with the annual meeting commencing at noon.
 
Outgoing Horizon Council Chair, Robbie Roepstorff, along with Regina Smith, Director of Lee County's Economic Development Office, will present the results of economic development activity in Lee County during 2005.

The meeting will conclude with Regina Smith and in-coming Chairman Bruce Gora, previewing Lee County's economic development plans for 2006.
