The Yellow Fever Creek Preserve is located along Del Prado Boulevard, north of Kismet Parkway. As a part of the project, the City and County are sponsoring a second Public Workshop to obtain public input (the first was held in November 2004). The workshop is being coordinated by Johnson Engineering. The Public Workshop will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at King's Way Christian Center in northeast Cape Coral, 2016 Kismet Parkway E, Cape Coral. The goal of the workshop is to obtain public input on the preliminary site plan for this project. People are invited to gather information about the project and share their opinions on the features planned for the park. Some of the proposed park features include a welcome center, passive recreation trails, equestrian trails, primitive camping, environmental education opportunities, interpretive kiosks, and an interpretive historic farm.
