Lee County in the Process of Identifying Obstructions in Waterways

Lee County is in the process of identifying obstructions in waterways (rivers, canals, creeks, flow ways, ditches, etc.) that resulted from Hurricane Wilma.   Obstructions of concern would be those items that are impeding flow or are potential hazard to navigation such as downed trees, large pieces of roofing material or other debris.

To report problems in unincorporated Lee County, residents may call Lee County's Request for Action (RFA) line at  (239) 694-3334 or send a detailed e-mail to rfa@leegov.com.  Please provide a description of the type of debris, the location, and a contact name with a phone number. An online reporting form may also be completed by clicking on the D.O.T. Request for Action link located at www.lee-county.com. The deadline for reporting problems is November 30, 2005.
