Horizon Council to Recognize Premier Companies
Sep 13, 2005 MEDIA ALERT Media Contact: Jennifer Dunn, Lee County Economic Development Office Horizon Council to recognize premier companies at Lee County Industry Appreciation Luncheon FORT MYERS, Fla. (September 13, 2005) - On Friday, Sept. 23, the Horizon Council will recognize three outstanding Lee County businesses at the annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon for the following categories: Tourism, Information Technology and General Business. Additionally, this year the Council will continue with the two new awards introduced last year - The Business Expansion Award and The Newcomer Award. A total of 5 companies will be honored at the annual luncheon. This event draws approximately 800 government, business and community leaders to celebrate the significant contributions of the business community in Lee County. The event will be held at Harborside Event Center in downtown Fort Myers. Limited seating is available for the media. The Council works to improve Lee County's business environment, retain and encourage expansion of existing businesses and attract new and diversified employment. |
