Roepstorff Named Horizon Council Chair

The Economic Development Office of Lee County, Florida is pleased to
announce Robbie B. Roepstorff has been named Chair of the Horizon
Council for the next year.  Ms. Roepstorff is President of the Bank Of
The Islands on Sanibel Island and has been a member of the Horizon
Council Executive Committee since 2002.

"We appreciate her dedication to the Horizon Council and are pleased to have her leading the
council's efforts this year," says Regina Smith, Executive Director of the Lee County Economic
Development Office.

The Horizon Council is a public-private advisory board that advises the
Board of County Commissioners on Economic Development issues.  The
Council has 62 members representing five cities; 10 chambers of
commerce; 12 economic development and trade organizations; 10 community,
education and business organizations and the remaining serve as at-large
members.
