Sanibel Island Traffic Shift
Beginning 7 p.m. Thursday evening, August 25, 2005
until 7 a.m. Friday morning, August 26, 2005

Fort Myers, FL, August 24, 2005 - Beginning tomorrow night (Thursday, August
25, 2005) at 7 p.m., traffic will be switched to temporary lanes on Causeway
Boulevard between Sextant Drive and the water.  The lane switch will be in
place until 7 a.m. on Friday morning (August 26, 2005).  The switch is being
conducted to allow crews to commence clearing and removal of vegetation
between the existing roadway and the Sanibel boat ramp.  This is in
preparation for construction of the new roadway for the bridges.  Traffic
control measures will be in place to minimize traffic interruptions.
Drivers are asked to use caution and obey all signs during this brief
inconvenience.
