COMMISSIONER HALL WORKS IN ESTERO

FORT MYERS, Fla (August 23, 2005)- Lee County Commissioner Tammy Hall will work at the Hyatt on Wednesday August 24, 2005 as part of her continuing commitment to perform "work days' out in the community.

"The opportunity to see first hand the various industries that make up our economy is extremely valuable.  We continue to strive to create a desirable business environment in Lee County for not only our various industries, but their employees," commented Commissioner Hall.

Commissioner Hall's schedule at the Hyatt will begin at 1:00 p.m. with front desk duties, then continue at 2:00 p.m. in the laundry department, and end at 3:00 p.m. in guest services.

The "work day" concept is to learn more about the concerns and needs of businesses, employers, employees, residents and organizations within the Lee County community.

Commissioner Hall hopes to do at least one workday each quarter.  Her first workday was at Cape Coral Hospital in April.

Commissioner Hall was elected to the Board of Lee County Commissioners in 2004 and serves as the Board's Vice Chairperson.  Her district includes North Fort Myers and the central and northern portions of Cape Coral.
