Web Access to Community Development Calendar/Agendas Available
Jul 19, 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 19, 2005) - Lee County's Department of Community Development (DCD) has added a calendar function to its website that links to meetings and agendas for many different agencies and committees, including cases before the Hearing Examiner. To view the calendar, click on the DCD's website at http://www.lee-county.com/dcd/, then click on the picture of a calendar (http://dcd-calendar.leegov.com//calendar.php). Once in the calendar, residents can easily see by day when and where meetings are being held and can access the agendas for the meetings. Agendas are included for:

The county tries to keep the site updated with recent draft reports and development ordinances of interest to the community and building industry. Items in the "What's New" section include:
Community Development oversees planning, zoning, and development services such as permitting, development review, code enforcement and building inspections in the unincorporated areas of the county and for Bonita Springs and Fort Myers Beach.
