Lakes Park Swimming Beach is Closed, Other Facilities are Open
Jun 30, 2005 LEE COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT For Immediate Release Date: 30 June 2005 LAKES PARK SWIMMING BEACH IS CLOSED, MOST OTHER FACILITIES ARE OPEN The water at Lakes Park Swimming Beach is not clear enough for safe swimming. The swimming beach will remain closed until water clarity improves. Water clarity problems may be related to storm water runoff caused by above average rainfall. Lakes Park itself and most of its recreational amenities are open, including the Water Playground. |
