Bowditch Point Regional Park Day Docks Ribbon Cutting

BOWDITCH  POINT  REGIONAL  PARK  DAY  DOCKS RIBBON  CUTTING  CEREMONY 

On Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 2 PM, the Lee County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new day docks at Bowditch Point Regional Park in the Town of Fort Myers Beach.  The ceremony will be at 50 Estero Boulevard ( northern tip of the island. )  Lee County Commissioner, Ray Judah, will serve as master of ceremonies.  He will be joined by numerous officials from the Town of Fort Myers Beach, Lee County Tourist Development Council and the boating community.  The project cost
$446,000.    

The ceremony is open to the public and area citizens are encouraged to attend the festivities.
