Historical Marker Unveiled at Palm Park
 
Fort Myers, FL (October 13, 2008) – The Society of Founders and Patriots of America will unveil its historical marker at Palm Park at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2008.  The City of Fort Myers Parks and Beautification staff installed the marker at the request of member Barbara B. Mann.  

Mayor Jim Humphrey, along with members of the Fort Myers City Council and Lee County Commission, will unveil the marker in the 2:00 pm ceremony on October 22. 

Palm Park is located at 2330 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Fort Myers (MLK and Central Ave).  The public and media are invited to attend the ceremony.
