SEVEN Lee County Emergency Medical services employees Attain credentials 

Ft. Myers, Fla.- Lee County Emergency Medical Services added seven credentialed field providers to its division through their successful completion of the agency's field training program. 

Recently credentialed employees are:

Steve Lupe, Paramedic, Cape Coral

Klaudia Contreras, Emergency Medical Technician, Pembroke Pines

Brian Garcia, Paramedic, Port Charlotte

Fred Jackson, Paramedic, Lehigh Acres

Suzzane Carnevale, Emergency Medical Technician, Fort Myers

Kim Diogo, Paramedic, Cape Coral

Jeff Rountree, Paramedic, Fort Myers

Five of the seven newly credentialed employees are promotions from EMT to Paramedic. Each paramedic and EMT that Lee County hires or promotes is required to participate in a four week orientation and complete a field training program. Upon completion of the field training program, recruits are required to pass a test before an internal credentialing board which includes the EMS medical director
