Potentially hazardous weather from Hurricane Ike will be discussed during a briefing at the Lee County Emergency Operations Center, 2665 Ortiz Avenue, at 3 p.m. today, Friday, September 5, 2008. Officials plan to encourage weekend preparations with the potential for protective actions beginning as early as Monday morning.
