Jul 28, 2008 For Immediate Release July 28, 2008 Lakes Park Railroad Interpretive Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony On Saturday, August 9, 2008, 10 AM, the Lee County Board of County Commissioners will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony for new Railroad Interpretive Center at Lakes Regional Park at 7330 Gladiolus Drive in south Ft. Myers. Lee County Commissioner, Frank Mann, will serve as master of ceremonies. He will be joined by numerous members of the Railroad Museum of South Florida, Inc. The new facility cost $800,000. The ceremony is open to the public and area citizens are encouraged to attend the festivities. |
